FIGHT CONFIRMED!
Peace ‘X’ Nguphane hails from Potchefstroom and, now calling Springs in the east of Jo’burg his home, represents the House of Tinkerbell and only has one thing on his mind in 2023 – getting to the championship. Nguphane had a very successful run on the amateur circuit gaining championships and winning gold at the 2019 IMMAF Africa Championships, amongst many other accomplishments. Now, ‘X’ feels it’s finally time for him to add the EFC Welterweight Championship to his accolades and uses his first fight of 2023 as a launchpad to achieve that feat.
With a new year comes new goals, and Given ‘Bonecracker’ Majuba finds himself on his own mission to achieve this year.
With a notable striking background, Majuba has historically been pegged as having one defined skill set but he shocked fight fans with a clinical Anaconda Choke submission victory at EFC 98. ‘Bonecracker’ is on a quest to build himself as a workhorse in the EFC and, with his ninth fight, looks to pull an upset that could get the attention of the matchmakers. Majuba boasts of a 4th degree Black Belt in kickboxing and is no stranger to being a champion himself, which is a feeling he longs to have once more.
Highly driven and motivated, Peace Nguphane and Given Majuba will clash at EFC 102
