The only fighter to take the call is a man they call ‘The Wolf’ – Khamzat ‘Borz’ Abaev from Belgium. Born in the Chechen Republic from which he emigrated as a youngster, Abaev began wrestling in primary school before taking up judo from which he transitioned into Muay Thai and various other forms of grappling and standup arts. Now he’s ready to make his professional debut under the brightest lights of African combat sports and the EFC is immensely proud to have secured his signature to face Boloyoang, a difficult task for any athlete on debut.
