Johannesburg, South Africa – Millions of fans around the world watched the action packed EFC 82 event which saw two new champions rise and claim their belts. For the first time ever, both Zimbabwe and Cameroon have EFC world champions in Themba Gorimbo and Simon Biyong, respectively.

 

The recent TV ratings report from Nielsen Sports shows that over 17 million unique viewers in South Africa have tuned in to watch EFC on TV so far in 2019. The report only details the South African audience watching on SABC 3 and SuperSport, there are tens of millions more watching EFC on numerous other TV networks across Africa and globally.

 

“This is awesome promotion for EFC athletes, the sport and associated brands,” stated EFC President Cairo Howarth. “We are looking forward to a huge event on 14 December at Time Square.”
