Pretoria, South Africa – News just in from the camp of women’s double division champion, Amanda ‘Mad Dog’ Lino that she will be undergoing surgery on Wednesday morning. Lino is expected to make a full recovery in time to defend her flyweight belt against TF2 winner, France’s Manon Fiorot at EFC 83.

 

“Manon mustn’t think for a second this affects me or my ability to fight in the near future,” Lino declared. She added, “This only makes me hungrier and in the end, more dangerous!”

 

EFC VP Talent, Graeme Cartmell stated, “We wish Amanda good luck and a speedy recovery for her procedure. It’s been a while since we have seen her in action and I can’t wait for December. It’s gonna be one heck of a fight against Manon!”
