Windhoek, Namibia – OATV, Namibia’s most popular sport and entertainment channel, has partnered with world-renowned Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) organisation EFC.
This partnership will see the best MMA content being aired on OATV to everyone in Namibia. EFC content is broadcast weekly on TV in over 120 countries, captivating fans around the world, and now Namibia is part of the action.

“Inverleigh Media are passionate about growing EFC’s footprint in Africa, and this deal in Namibia is a significant step forward,” says DK Aghaji of Inverleigh – a sports marketing agency that brokered the agreement and are working with EFC on its expansion in Africa.
The partnership will see hours of dedicated EFC programming broadcast weekly on the Namibian media powerhouse, as well as 10 live primetime events per year.
Notable highlights of the OATV partnership include the following:
- 10 x EFC events per annum will be broadcast every Saturday from 21:00 – 00:00 CAT. Each is a 3-hour broadcast that includes 5 commercial breaks.
- EFC Countdown shows will be broadcasted on Tuesdays between 23:00 – 23:30, 1 week prior to each of the live 10 EFC events.
- EFC premium fights episodes will be broadcasted weekly every Saturday between 22:00 – 23:00.
- The hit reality series, The Fighter Season 2 (TF2), which debuted in April, will be broadcast weekly on Saturdays at 20h00 and repeats on Thursdays at 23:00. The live finale taking place on 29 June 2019
