Douala, Cameroon –Spectrum TV (STV), the leading free-to-air TV broadcaster in Cameroon, has struck a multi-year partnership with world renowned Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) organisation, EFC.
This partnership places MMA content on air for the first time on STV, bringing EFC and the sport to millions of viewers in Cameroon. EFC content is broadcast weekly on TV in over 120 countries, captivating fans around the globe, and now Cameroon will be part of the action.

Inverleigh Media, a sports marketing agency who helped broker the agreement are working with EFC on its expansion in Africa.
EFC already has two Cameroonian athletes signed to its roster: Batamag Bertrand who featured on season one of The Fighter, and heavyweight star, Nico ‘The Lion’ Yamdjie.
The partnership will see hours of dedicated EFC programming broadcast weekly on the Cameroonian media powerhouse, as well as 10 live primetime events per year.
Notable highlights of the STV broadcast partnership include:
- All 10 live EFC events will be broadcast on Saturdays from midnight until 03:00 WAST starting with EFC 78 on Saturday 13 April;
- EFC Countdown shows to be broadcast on Fridays at 15h00, plus the best bouts will be broadcast weekly, every Monday at 09h00;
- The hit reality series, The Fighter Season 2 (TF2), debuts on 26 April and broadcast weekly on Tuesdays at 23h00. The live finale taking place on 29 June 2019
