With many of the world’s best Mixed Martial Artists descending on Time Square in Menlyn, Pretoria, EFC is set to kick-off the EFC 2019 schedule in an explosive style with two epic title fights on 16 March.
In the main event, former champ and South African MMA legend, Martin van Staden vows to reclaim the belt by force against the slick striking of England’s Joe ‘Silk’ Cummins.

The heavyweights take centre stage, when USA’s Jared Vanderaa puts his undisputed title on the line against the heavy-hitting Congolese, Ricky Misholas. Travelling across 9 time zones, seeking ultimate glory, Vanderaa has the biggest fight in his career yet against the EFC veteran and KO artist Ricky Misholas.

Also on the main card, TF1 contestant, New Zealand’s undefeated Shaw Dean, makes his official EFC debut against South Africa’s Quinton Rossouw. A man with a 100% finish rate and zero losses. Plus, riding a super impressive 6-fight win streak; DRC’s Alain Ilunga returns after a 2 year lay-off against the dangerous new Polish signing, Lukasz Swirydowicz. And, set to open the main card broadcast at 18:00 CAT Pretorian home town fan favourite, Gordon Roodman faces rising star, DRC’s undefeated Justin Smith.
Kicking-off the highly anticipated fight night, 8 more matchups between some of the organisation’s biggest names will take place. Prelims begin at 14:00 CAT and main card starts at 18:00 CAT.
