Johannesburg, South Africa – African MMA has just taken a giant leap forward with the launch of the EFC Performance Institute in Paulshof, Johannesburg. Doors are open to the public on 1 February, and the pioneering training facility is currently host to the hit reality TV series TF2, that sees 10 top female flyweight prospects from around the globe battle it out for the ultimate prize. The state-of-the-art training facility is powered by Technogym, the world’s leading wellness solution and equipment provider.

The SKILLATHLETIC studio including state of the art range or free-running SKILLMILL, SKILLROW and SKILLBIKE.
A Boxfit area, kitted out with numerous 6ft boxing bags and other fitness equipment for daily use.
Over 100m ² of Zebra mats. More than enough space for any Wrestling or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu needs. Added to the area is several boxing bags, offering users the ability to mix up their grappling with some striking.
An Olympic lifting, free-weights and cardio area. Fitted with SIDEA free weights, assisted lifting machines, barbells, dumbbells and kettlebells, plus Technogym JOG Treadmills, Groupcycle spinning bikes and VARIO elliptical machines.

The EFC Performance Institute will also play home to Technogym as their official training facility in Africa, where expert trainers and coaches will gather to further knowledge of training techniques and technology.
The facility has also been designed and is ready to host grappling tournaments, press conferences and various other events. With the vantages grandstand and upstairs refreshment bar providing a clear view of the entire facility.
