DALLAS JAKOBI RETURNS

Gordon Roodman to face the former champion at Time Square

Pretoria, South Africa – After 5 years out of competition, the former welterweight champion, Dallas Jakobi is returning to the Hexagon. He steps back into the spotlight to face Pretoria favourite, Gordon Roodman in an epic middleweight match-up scheduled to take place on Saturday 8 December in Time Square, Pretoria.

Jakobi is a legend of MMA who possesses some of the most devastating ground-and-pound in the history of the organisation. He retired from competition to take time off to focus on running his gym and help teammate Amanda Lino at KO Fitness become a two-division champ. However although retired, his return to MMA was always imminent.

Pretoria based, Roodman, knows how to do one thing, and do it well. He brings the fight to his opponent with massive punches, often turning a fight into a slugfest. Fighting out of the esteemed Fight Evolution in Johannesburg, Roodman has been refining his overall skills to be even more dangerous. He will be on the hunt for that walk-off KO finish as he charges forward.

These two warriors are scheduled to collide on the 12-bout EFC 76 fight card.
