North West, South Africa – EFC in Sun City is looking to once again thrill as one of the most exciting events of the year. The fight card is headlined by the interim EFC welterweight title fight between Brazil’s Jose da Rocha and DRC’s undefeated Gunther Kalunda and a highly anticipated heavyweight battle between African boxing champ, Elvis Moyo, and USA’s Jared Vanderaa and now the highly explosive match-up between Cameron Pritchard and Anicet Kanyeba has joined the main card. EFC 73 takes place live on 8 September from the ultimate entertainment destination, Sun City.
Port Elizabethan born and raised, Pritchard, has long been a champion prospect and went 4-0 as a welterweight until he suffered his first professional loss to title contender Da Rocha.
Based out of Johannesburg, he has recently made the drop to lightweight and with a 100% finish rate in the EFC Hexagon he hopes to now more than ever use his size, power and alacrity to his advantage.
Kanyeba is a 17 EFC fight veteran who has fought from featherweight all the way up to welter, never turning down an opponent.
Based out of Junkyard MMA in Johannesburg, Kanyeba is a veteran with precise boxing and an ever-improving grappling game. He too holds a 100% finish rate.
This not-to-be missed battle takes place just ahead of the EFC interim welterweight title and heavyweight clash, all only available live from the ultimate entertainment destination, Sun City.
